The Brothers Vanderberg


Pete Vanderberg was born on Long Island and served in the US Navy for four years.  He received an MFA in Creative Writing from CUNY Queens College and his work has appeared in Hunger Mountain, Cratelit, Ozone Park, Acorn, Roadrunner, 5 x 5 and Modern Haiku.  Pete teaches Art and Creative Writing at St. John’s Preparatory School and lives with his wife and two children in Lynbrook, NY.
James Vanderberg was born on Long Island and received his MFA in Painting from CUNY Hunter College. While there, James was awarded a Luetz/Riedel Fellowship to study at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris, France. James has exhibited his work in New York, Long Island and Brooklyn in both group and solo exhibitions. James teaches art at Fordham University and is a member of the Fowler Arts Collective in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  He lives and works in Brooklyn.
